Joe Jones was inducted into the Whitby Sports Hall of fame. Joe was a dominant road cyclist in the 1960's. He was 1968 Canadian Road Champion and finished 10th overall in the British Milk race. He participated in the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City in the team time trial and men's road race.
