The Canadian National Cycling Team U23 men's project finished Sunday with the 58th edition of the Ronde Van Overijssel in the Netherlands. The UCI Category 2 road race rolled through the Overijssel province over main roads, side roads and farmers lanes on decaying cobbles.

After a six kilometre neutral start, the close to 200 rider field strung out, with gaps opening up right away in the cross winds.
The Canadian Team consisted of Keir Plaice, Spencer Smitheman, Antoine Duchesne, Jamie Riggs and Michael Joanisse.
Duchesne was pulled by the race officials at the start of the finishing circuits. Joanisse completed the two 8.5 kilometre finishing circuits with the peloton, placing an impressive 36th.
It was an excellent end to the month long project at the Canadian National Team base in Tielt-Winge, Belgium.
