Tour Feminin - Stage 10

Zulfia Zabirova of Russia has won the 10th stage of the Tour Feminin, an 18.6 km individual time trial. Zabirova‚s victory was not a surprise, given her win in the same event at the Olympics last year. Canada‚s Linda Jackson was second in the stage, 28 seconds behind. Luperini was 4th in the stage, but hangs onto the overall lead, conceding only 11 seconds to 2nd place Barb Heeb of Switzerland.



We are now off to the wilds of rural Ontario for the Ontario provincial Mountain Bike Championships (Mansfield Ski Centre). We may or may not be able to post any Daily News until Sunday afternoon - facilities are, shall we say, rustic.
