June 15/10 22:55 pm - Sunpeaks: Ride it Like You Own It

From steep and technical downhill runs to berm loaded machine-made trails…the options are endless in the Sun Peaks Bike Park, but when it comes to single track, no other park does it better.

Dozens of kilometres of flowing single track trails loaded with natural and man-made features await riders of all abilities. Try the legendary Sugar to Sweet One, which can only be described as epic. If you’re an intermediate rider looking to step up your game, pin it straight to Gummy Bear.

For aspiring rubber necks, learn from the experts at the Sun Peaks Freeride Camps hosted by pro riders Graham Agassiz (Kona Bicycles) and Matt Hunter (Specialized Bicycles). Graham is featured in New World Disorder 10’s Dust and Bones and Matt will be featured riding Sun Peaks and other BC Parks in the upcoming release of Follow Me from Anthill Films (April 16 release). With pros like Graham and Matt, riders are sure to progress quickly through the week-long camp.

There are no lift lines and 70 kilometres of terrain to cover, so take a weekend to discover your bike park at Sun Peaks. The Sun Peaks Bike Park (lift-accessed) opens June 26, 2010.
