The day after the Mountain Bike World Championships, the focus shifted to Quebec City for the Canadian Cycling Association Annual General Meeting. On Monday evening the President's Reception was held for the provinces, CCA Board and Committees to mingle. Normally, the CCA presents all their awards at the AGM, but because the AGM was held prior to the end of the season, due the the MTB Worlds, the only award presented was the Torchy Peden award to Quebec as the top province, for holding two world championships in one year - Para-Cycling and MTB.
On Tuesday, the CCA held its AGM, and besides reports from the CCA staff, elections were held for Committee and Board positions:
Board of Directors

elected Bill Kinash, Yannick Archambault, Kevin Baldwin
defeated - Carolyn Soules, Michael Sarnecki
High Performance Committee
- Chair (2 years) - John Cools defeated Andrew Iler
- Development Team Representative (2 years) - Luc Arsenault

- Chair (2 years) - Kevin MacCuish - (acclaimed)
- Road and Track Rep (2 years) - Rémi Berube (acclaimed)
Officials Committee
- Road and Track Representative (2 years) - Wayne Pomario (acclaimed)
- BMX Representative (2 years) - Jason Howard (acclaimed)

Builder of the Year - Luc Arsenault
In 2011 the AGM will be held in Winnipeg
CCA staff was honoured by the UCI with a silver tray
GESTEV principals: Yves Blouin, Chantal Lachance and Patrice Drouin were honoured for hosting the MTB World Championships
Luc Arsenault received the Builder of the Year award (accepted on his behalf)
