La Bicicletta is proud to announce an intimate evening celebrating Le Metier. Michael Barry, a born-and-raised Torontonian, is a hardened veteran of the European ProTour peloton. Having just written a book about life at the highest echelon of the sport, he will be in-store September 15th from 7-10pm for a meet-and-greet, an interview, and a book signing.
A professional cyclist for eleven years, he has ridden for some of the biggest teams, including US Postal and T-Mobile. Currently riding for Team Sky, he is one of the most experienced, and intereting riders around. With his craft of writing, he gives the reader unprecedented insights about life in cycling: the hardships, adventurousness, glory, suffering for a love, and mental fortitude.
Copies of Le Metier will be available for purchase at the event.
Food and beverage will be prepared and served on site.
Capacity is limited to 100 people. No RSVP required. Everyone welcome.
Sponsored by Domestique Café and McAuslan Brewery.
