A composite Canadian team will be competing in the 24th edition of the Tobago cycling classic from Sept 29th to Oct 3rd. The squad includes:
Andre Tremblay - Canada
Evan Mundy - Canada
Jannes Wessels - Canada
Brad Clifford – Canada
Joe Lewis - USA
John McGill - USA
Notable teams include Team Rapha (UK) with Kristian House, Mooserwirt (Austria), CRCA Foundation (USA), Saxony (Germany), Bike-Aid (German), and many of the Caribbean National squads.
Under the extreme heat of the Caribbean and grades as steep as 27%, anything can happen and the race favourites may fade as the stages wear on.
As always, the event will prove to be exciting and definitely unpredictable. I will try to put the full experience to words with reports and photos sent as often as possible.
