Racing continued over the weekend at the Forest City Velodrome the 138m high banked Velodrome in London Ontario.

Many new racers were on hand to add to the excitement.  The Sprint tournament saw many new faces with the women mixed in with our sprinters.  In the end Mike Aston from London out distanced Chris Singleton for the Gold.  Cadet racer Brandon Lidlow from Brantford turned some heads by being very competitive in all of his endurance races on the night.  Then went out and took the Bronze medal in the sprints.... very nice first night on the boards.

In youth action, Katherine Marentete from Mt Bridges captured the race win just coming over last weeks winner Logan McIntyre (Teeterville) and Trey Ellison from London.

Kimberley Edwards from Connecticut, paced the women's field to the win, pipping Sarah Rasmussen and Erin Dowswell at the line.

The next action for the racers at FCV is in 2 weeks at the Ontario Provincial Track Championships, October 15th, 16th and 17th.
