The Blizzard Bike Club had a double header cyclo cross Sunday, October 10th under incredibly windy conditions.

Timothy Gladysz won the morning race with a time of 28:26 for 4 laps of the North Peace circuit. Pat Ferris held off Kevin Shaw for second at 29:30. Gary Hilderman was 4th at 30:50, Roger St. Jean 5th at 31:20, Barb Polehoykie 6th at 35:36, Sam Keats was 7th at 37:17, , Owen Giebelhaus 8th at 40:42 and Larry Joice 9th.

Tristen Bourassa and Drayden Tyrrell did the kids event.

The ‘Sandbaggers’ team of Andrew Tyrrell and Pat Ferris won the afternoon relay cyclo cross race with 50:17. The “Hammers’ , Gord Harris and Owen Giebelhaus had 50:23 for second, the Crunchers, Floyd and Barb Polehoykie third at 50:33 and the ‘CanExes’, Kevin Shaw and Dave Menzies were 4th at 50:44. It was an exciting finish with all four teams coming down to the last uphill to the finish for a close finish.

Coming up:

-Sunday cyclo cross at 1 pm at the North Peace circuit.
