Thanks to generous support from partners Parks Canada and the Trans Canada Trail, the IMBA Canada Trail Care Crew will be on the road for a second year in 2011.
The deadline for IMBA Canada clubs and other organizations to apply online for a 2011 visit is just weeks away on Nov. 30, 2010.
Host a 4-day IMBA Canada Trail Care Crew visit to energize your volunteers or staff and learn new techniques for sustainable trailbuilding. The IMBA Trailbuilding School is a half-day of classroom education, followed by several hours of field application: including designing and building new trail, rerouting and reclaiming old trail, or adding new features to existing trail.
Visits are free, open to all trail users, and available to IMBA-affiliated clubs, Parks Canada sites, and Trans Canada Trail local, provincial, and territorial organizations.
Get more information at IMBA Canada or email program coordinator Rachael Raven at rachael.raven@imba.com.
