The Forest City Velodrome is please to announce the return of true endurance racing back to Ontario for 2011.
The Toronto - London RR was a staple on the calander back in the late 1960's and early 1970's. The race was a 190 kilometre marathon.
February 5, 2011 will see the return of this classic distance at the FCV. Premier track builder Peter Junek and Thor Espresso Bar in Toronto are sponsoring this 1380 lap (190.350 kilometre) marathon.
There will be chip timing to keep track of the racers. Field limit is 35 riders. Entry fee will be $50.00 per rider.

First $2,500.00
Second $500.00
Third $500.00
Fourth $400.00
Fifth $350.00
Sixth $300.00
Seventh $250.00
Eighth $200
There will be very few rules, other than "no aero bars or wheels". Unrestricted gears. Prize winners must finish within 100 laps of the winner.
