New Brunswick's Stuart Wight is settling in to life in southern France with his new team - CR4C-Roanne - and has been given some great news this week. The FDJ team has a spring training camp coming up at the end of February and they have invited two of the CR4C under 23 riders to attend.
Wight, who is in his first year as a U23 rider, has been selected as one of those to go. This will be an opportunity for the FDJ management and coaches to meet and gauge the potential of these young riders. The three day camp will be a tough weekend, since they will ride for six or more hours a day with Tour de France calibre riders, as well as the rest of the large contingent of FDJ riders, including Quebec's Dominique Rollin. Wight and teammate Anthony Soares are excited to be given the chance to be seen by the team and are putting in some long rides between now and then to prepare for the experience.
