The National Cycling Centre is happy to announced its latest purchase - the Multirider application for its Computrainer! The CompuTrainer MultiRider system provides a new, exciting and technically superior method of indoor GROUP bike training and racing. It's a great way to motivate people to stick with an athletic or exercise program. The Atlantic Cycling Centre as been renovated and can now double as an indoor cycling center for up to four riders at a time connected to one PC through a USB Hub.
The Centre's head coach, Luc Arseneau, really likes this new way of training: "We've tested the system during the Sport-Étude program and it challenges the cyclists in ways you would not expect. You can spend an hour racing each other, or teaming up in a team time trial. You don't see the time go by."
The general public is invited to try this new "toy". To start, the Centre will run session on Tuesday evenings (7 and 8 PM). It will run on a first-come-first-serve basis. Participants are asked to Register Online for February 15th at 7:00 pm or 8:00 pm. They will only be able to take the first four riders per session. You can see who (and how many) are already signed up by clicking on the "view registered" link of the specific session. The one hour session costs $7. To register for the future weeks, check out the calendar (top right) on the Centre's main page.
You'll need to bring your road bike, shoes, comfortable cycling clothes ... and a good towel!
