The 2011 Tour of Bronte on April 10th is a little more than a month off but the early registration deadline is just two days away. Save $15 - $20 off the race day entry fee and $10 off the price as of March 11th.
Racers are reminded that field limits will also apply to all events at the Tour of Bronte in Oakville, Ontario.
Road races for all categories, Mtb Races and "Learn to..." clinics are all part of the program. Road races take place on an 8 kilometre closed circuit, with over $5,000 cash prize list, no centre line rule and a combination of paved and unpaved roads. It is reminiscent of this past weekend's "Strade Bianche", in Tuscany. The MTB course is a mix of gravel road and double track lanes, a perfect test before the following weekend's Paris to Ancaster.
The "Sprockids' Learn to Mountainbike" and "Group Riding 101" clinics are led by two of Ontario's most experienced instructors and coaches - Chris Kiriakopoulos and Derek MacNeil.
All proceeds from the 2011 Tour of Bronte will support Hamilton Youth Cycling, a non profit organization dedicated to maximizing opportunities in road, track and mountain bike racing in greater Hamilton and southern Ontario.
