In the tradition of Gran Fondos of Italy, the Gran Fondo Niagara will take cyclists through the scenic roads of Niagara. Past vineyards, wooded valleys and the bucolic rural byways of the Niagara Peninsula.
Beginning at Rockway Glen, participants will experience Canada's cycling heartland at their own pace (from competitive to leisurely) with the promise of a replenishing meal at the finish.
Come join us as this event returns for its third edition on May 21st. Organized by local residents, this will be the genuine, unsurpassed cycling event in Niagara!
This year's event will offer the choice of the full Gran Fondo (120 kilometres) or the Medio Fondo (80 kilometres). Entry into either distance will include a commemorative jersey and a fully catered fine lunch following the event (prepared by Rockway Glen's own executive chef, Josh Minor).
More details about the event route and registration will be available in the coming weeks. Check back at www.gfniagara.ca
