What do you get when you mix a super-sized helping of twisty, flowing  downhill with a bit of climbing, all set within a luscious garden of  winding singletrack resurrected amid the long-forgotten trails of  Belcarra? The John Henry West Coast Super D on April 10th.
 
 Legendary BC mountain biking supporters John Henry Bikes, Ryders Eyewear  and Schwalbe Tires are combining with event organizer West Coast Racing  to help bring you a heap of swag and prizes. Now in its third year,  this event has brought together downhillers and cross country racers in a  unique format to battle it out for bragging rights as who is the best  rider. This event is run as a time trial and fast times are expected  between 10 to 15 minutes.
 
 West Coast Racing has a new course sections for this year! Look for more  juicy singletrack - just one climb but expect a few new roots, routes,  rocks and rolls! The John Henry West Coast Super D is a perfect way to  open the local mountain biking race season with a course suitable for  all riders, and all bike types.
 
 The main event information page www.westcoastracing.ca/superd provides  elevation profile and estimated finish times. Until April 3rd we have  early bird fees of only $15 for pre-registered riders who have a Cycling  BC Citizen or UCI license, or only $20 for non-licensed riders.
 
 West Coast Racing is a community cycling club operating as a  not-for-profit society run entirely by volunteers from within its  membership. Various outdoor and indoor cycling programs are run by West  Coast Racing year-round for mountain bikers, road riders, and  cyclocrossers. West Coast racing also provides its 13th season of  outdoor Power Training fitness program.  West Coast Racing is also the  organizer of the Cardiac Classic BC Cup XC at Burnaby Mountain on June  26th, and the BC Cup stalwart Vanier Park BC Cup Cyclocross Classic in  the fall of 2011.
