Effective March 1st, 2011, Norco Products Ltd., Canada's largest bicycle, parts and accessories distributor, signed a deal as an official distributor for SPANK products to the Canadian IBD market.

An up-and-coming mountain bike brand, Spank Industries produces progressive, high-quality bicycle components for riders of all off-road disciplines from dirt jump to cross country. The unique blend of innovative in-house technologies and exciting design driven aesthetics of their products has quickly put their name on the map as a top quality components brand. Though many riders may have heard of the Spank brand, they are new to the Canadian market.

Spank took their time in selecting a Canadian partner, waiting for the perfect opportunity to enter the competitive Canadian market. "With the support of a partner like Norco, with such extensive experience and deep involvement in the Canadian MTB scene, we feel we have found the perfect fit," stated Mike Dutton, Spank Industries Brand Manager. With a complete lineup of frames, rims, bars, stems and pedals, the partnership will provide an excellent addition to Norco's extensive product offering.

Norco is now taking orders on Spank and anticipates to ship to dealers by mid-April.
