Hardwood MTB Raid
32 teams participated in the inaugural Hardwood MTB Raid. Early morning snow and cool, wet temperatures promised for a challenging day. This event demanded riding and navigational skills in a team setting. Team Greaseman (Dave Corner, Rob Clements, Leslie Green, Shawn Kehoe), finished first in 4 hours 38 minutes a tight race with Team Marmalade (Jamie Herbst, Wayne Smith, Melissa Lunstead, Brian Ross), until the last checkpoint. The last teams to finish gutted it out for 8 hours 42 minutes. For full results go to www.hardwoodhills.on.ca
