After a year of exhilarating cycling in 2010, Marie-Hélène has confirmed she will take her career all the way to the 2012 London Olympics. A number of her team members, who all weighed in on the big decision, were present at the announcement. Loyal sponsor Raymond Dutil, president of Procycle Group/Rocky Mountain was also at her side and delighted to be supporting the renowned cyclist once again.

Following a diagnosis of exercise-induced asthma, the 2009 season was one of change for Marie-Hélène, who returned in fighting form in 2010. This, coupled with her steadfast belief that she could still make a difference on the circuit, led Marie-Hélène, after consulting her friends and family, to decide to pursue her Olympic dream for a third time. "Since 2008, I've been taking it one season at a time. I'm relieved that the decision to participate in the Games has been made, my objectives are clear, and I am thrilled to be training for this new goal with the support of my loved ones!" enthused a visibly confident Marie-Hélène Prémont.

When Marie-Hélène asked Raymond Dutil to continue their partnership, her request was warmly received. "We're very proud that Marie-Hélène will be teaming up with us again this season. She has been a part of the Procycle/Rocky Mountain family since the very start. She is an exemplary ambassador for our high-performance Rocky Mountain bicycles," commented the president of Procycle/Rocky Mountain. "Her determination, discipline, kindness, and social involvement set her apart from the crowd, both at international competitions and in everyday life."

Marie-Hélène will be riding the Vertex Team and Element Team carbon models and enjoying support from the Rocky Mountain-Maxxis technical team through every stage of the World Cup circuit and the World Championships in Champéry, Switzerland.
