Due to ongoing problems associated with access and high cost of hiring Halton police officers for special event policing.
- The June 23 elite women’s and men’s time trials and June 30 U19, masters’ and para-cyclists’ time trials are being relocated from Walker’s Line/Bell School Line to Belfountain Conservation Area in the Region of Peel.
- Canada Day criterium and several other races associated with the Canadian Road Cycling Championships proposed for this summer in Burlington are being moved outside of the city, from downtown Burlington to Toronto to be run during the CHIN picnic.
