Some of Cycling BC’s Provincial Team members gathered Friday evening at the Vancouver Convention Centre to introduce the 2011 team clothing.

With so many of the Provincial Team riders competing and training nationally and internationally as we speak, it’s difficult to get a group together at any time of the year. We (curently) have 17 year-olds competing in Switzerland, Under 21’s based in Belgium, and some of our more elite riders getting ready for the Tour of California. This is a great problem to have, and is down to the fantastic support we’ve had over the past few years from our sponsors. We are all thankful for the tremendous effort they have made to make cycling better in BC.

We’re very privileged and grateful to have so many supporters helping us with all levels of cycling in BC, from playground to podium, and from volunteers to  staff to coaches on the front line.

We would like to thank again everyone who makes it possible for such a gathering to occur, from parents to partners, and friends and family. Special thanks to Michelle Schwingboth for volunteering her time and photography skills. www.plushphoto.ca
