Giant Bicycle Canada has joined the online sales community with its first e-commerce driven site dedicated 100% to the sale of Giant Bicycle Gear.

Found at shop.giantbicycle.ca, the site features such cycling-specific items as team apparel, computers, lights, pumps, and components like handlebars, stems and posts.

"The process ensures complete customer satisfaction," states Bryan Kao, General Manager of Giant Canada. "It's a simple process where we ultimately are able to deliver our products quickly and effectively to our end-user group, while including our retailers in the process. We're thrilled to provide this service to both our dealers and consumers!"

The online site is aimed at supporting Gear product sales through its network of retailers, not bypassing it via direct sales. Consumers are able to purchase items online, and following that a notification is sent to the closest dealer in proximity to the consumer. The dealer then ships the product, if it's available, from their existing inventory.

Giant Canada is the first sales office in the Giant Global Team to offer online sales. Gear Product Manager, Brandon Crichton states: "This is a major step forward for Giant. We've made huge progress in the development of our Gear product offering in recent years - now we are able to showcase these items online in a fun and efficient shopping experience."
