Blizzard Bike Club, Fort St John BC

Pat Ferris won the opening mountain bike race of the season, Sunday night, doing 2 laps of the muddy short course on the Cactus Trails, in a time of 33:01 minutes. George Gamble (Taylor) was second at 34:33 and Gary Hilderman third at 34:55. Andrew Kovacs was 4th at 37:37, Roger St. Jean 5th at 39:12 and Adam Currie 6th at 45:44 and one rider did not finish.

Coming up:

Thursday is the Aurora Engineering Personal Best time trial at Baldonnel at 7 pm. This event was rained out, last Thursday.

Sunday is the Challenge Cup Nordic Trails Mountain bike race in Grande Prairie at 2 pm Alberta time.
