With less than two weeks to go, the Canadian Road Cycling Championships could use a little of your help.

If you haven't already signed up to volunteer, we could use a few more bodies to help things run smoothly. If you want to see the championships from some of the best seats in the house, and/or you know someone who might be interested in pitching in, head on over to www.roadnationals.ca, check out the schedule and then click on VOLUNTEER to sign up.

Remember - it's the cycling community that is the lifeblood of this sport - we all need to pitch in to keep it strong in this province, especially if we want to continue to see high caliber events coming here.

Also, if anyone has a nice camper-trailer or motorhome that could be used as a mobile office and they wouldn't mind lending it to us for the duration of the races, please contact andrew@midweekclub.ca.

In fact, if anyone wants to pitch in by donating things in-kind, please feel free to send us a message. Got a gas-powered generator idling by? Send it along. Stuck with 50 cases of bananas due to a shipping slip-up? We'll take em! If anyone wants to contribute, we won't say no! Don't get us wrong - things are running well and we've got a lot covered, but sometimes a small gesture goes a long way to making things great!
