Team Sky have announced their nine-man team for the 98th edition of the Tour de France, starting on 2 July at the Passage du Gois.
Michael Barry rode his first TDF in 2011 and was hoping for another selection this year, but his hopes were dashed when Team Sky made the team announcement yesterday.
Barry spoke with the Toronto Star's Randy Starkman after the announcement.
To date, Ryder Hesjedal is the only Canadian who will ride the 2011 TDF.
In Canada the 2011 TDF will be broadcast daily on TSN2. Check you local listings for time of broadcast. TSN will also be broadcasting on selected days.
