In case you have not heard, on Friday July 1st, there will be a crit during the Masters/Para/ Junior Nats that is available for the Elite racers in Ontario. This is the standard CHIN course, so it is a great course. There are not many people registered at this point. Please get your name in as soon as possible. There are some excellent crit racers in Ontario and this race is in a really easy place to access.
The OCA is doing its best to work with the Midweek Club and the officials to get races on the schedule. As you may know, the NATS program hit some barriers in Burlington. As racers, we need to support the efforts of these groups.
There were only 10 Master 1/2 racers at the crit on Sunday and about the same for the Sr3/Mas3. Please support these events by signing up as soon as possible. Without racers bicycle racing will fade away. As Canadians, we have more to offer athletically than being a one sport country. Prove it and come out and race your bike!
Craig Fagan is also still looking for volunteers. So, if you do not want to race, you can give back to the sport by helping out a little.
