New Survey

Chris Sheppard started an interesting thread in the Forums (No Prizes in BC) regarding a decision by Cycle B.C. that prizes do not need to be awarded in categories below Pro, ie, medals are fine in these lower categories. The argument is that it is getting harder and harder for organizers to get the sponsorship to pay for (or provide) these prizes, and that at the lower levels riders shouldn't be in the sport for prizes anyways. The opposing argument is that the chance to win a prize is an incentive to younger riders, and that prizes can be sold to help defray the expenses of racing (Ryan Dey made a posting to this argument). We want to know what you think, so we have put the Vote! page back up (look 'way up to the top of the screen...). Register your vote, and contribute to the discussion in the Forums.
