Ontario’s doctors have released a comprehensive report entitled, “Enhancing cycling safety in Ontario.”
The report looks at cyclists’ injuries and deaths in Ontario, compares the funding that other provinces dedicate to bike infrastructure, and also touches on the health benefits of cycling at a time when many Ontarians are overweight and not meeting the minimum physical activity requirements.
The recommendations are comprehensive as well, so this is a pretty broad-sweeping report.
