The Junior men take the first start on the 2nd day of racing in Champery, Switzerland.
A good size field, at 98 riders, will do do a start loop of 3 km then 4 full laps of the 4.8 km course for a total distance of 22.2 km.
Canada has 3 entries: Marc-Antoine Nadon, Alexandre Vialle, Thomas Neron.
There has been rain overnight and the woods are VERY slippery.

As they head out onto the first lap Grant Ferguson (Great Britain) has the lead by 4 sec over Andrey Fonseca (Costa Rica), Andri Frischknecht (Switzerland) 3rd at 16 sec, Michael Mayer (Austria) 4th at 19 sec

As they head out onto the 2nd lap, Victor Koretzky (France) has taken over the lead and has 26 sec on Fonseca. Ferguson 3rd at 28 sec and Maxime Urruty (France) 4th at s.t. Howard Grotts (USA) 5th at 51 sec
