Today the ITT course was open to the riders for training. Team Canada and all the other countries set out to ride the course in the very nwet conditions.
The weather forcast for the coming days is for continued wet conditions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with better (drier) weather starting on Thursday.
Other news:
• Robert Gesink (Ned) is out of the Worlds after breaking his leg in a training accident
• The USA replaced 2008 Olympic Champion and 2009 World ITT Champion Kristen Armstong with Amber Neben after Neben filed a protest, but not before Armstrong had aleady arrived in Copenhagen. US officials met Armstrong at the airport in Copenhagen with a return flight ticket.
