What do Zach Bell, Tara Whitten and Svein Tuft all have in common? They are all Canadian and all are at the absolute top level in cycling, and all of them race road and track. The Australians, New Zealanders, British and vast majority of European nations utilize track for the development of their young riders, these are the nations at the forefront of cycling. There are more World Championship and Olympic medals available to be won in track than all the other cycling disciplines combined. Canada provides a great deal of opportunities and funding towards the sport, and the skills you can learn track riding and racing will make you a better rider in any cycling discipline.
