Mike Nash (Ride with Rendall) has set a new Men's age 40-44 World Hour Record in Manchester UK
The previous record was held by Neal Stansbury (USA) , with a distance of 45.189km set on September 14th, 2003 (UPDATED)
The official announcement is below:
I am most pleased to confirm that Mike Nash (CAN19670512) broke the UCI World 40-44 Hour Record last night (18th October 2011) here on the Velodrome in Manchester.
The distance covered was 45.95933km
The appropriate paperwork is being forwarded by Chief Commissaire for the attempt, Julie Rodman.
An Anti Doping control was conducted, the results of which will be advised to you in due course.
