Jacob Schwingboth, Canada's rider in the men's Omnium at the Pan Am Games did not start today, for the second day of competition, beginning with the Individual Pursuit. Schwingboth crashed in both the Points and Elimination races yesterday, and suffered contusions and bruises. The decision was made to pull out for the final three events, when he did not recover as well as hoped overnight. It was the first Omnium for Schwingboth. He finished fourth in the Fly 200M time trial, eighth in the Points race and tenth in the Elimination.
