Surrey Cycling Plan & Greenways Plan Open House

The City of Surrey is pleased to invite you for an evening of reviewing the draft of the Cycling Plan and the Greenways Plan!
Time: 6:00pm to 8:00 pm
Location: Surrey Sport and Leisure Complex, 110-16555 Fraser Highway
There will be a brief presentation and overview of the Plans at 6:30 pm.

Some folks have been asking if the Vancouver Bicycle Meetup Group (VBMG) is having a Christmas get together this year. The answer is yes, but we're keeping it simple this year.

BCCC AGM

The British Columbia Cycling Coalition (BCCC) 2011 Annual General Meeting is coming up. Please join us to move cycling forward in BC.
12:00 Noon to 3:00pm
Fulford Hall, 2591 Fulford Ganges Road, Saltspring Island
The business meeting including the election of new directors will be Noon to 1:30pm. Please consider helping move cycling forward in BC by joining the BCCC Board of Directors. This will be followed by a discussion regarding building momentum for a Provincial Cycling Strategy and a province wide cycling touring network from 1:30 to 3:00pm.

The Fulford Spokespeople hold a ride every Sunday at 9:30am. BCCC members are invited to participate. On December 11th, Darcy Green will wait for BCCC members arriving on the 9:00am ferry from Swartz Bay before setting out.
Island Pathways is having their AGM on Saturday, December 10th and there will be a social afterwards.

Join fellow bicyclists, skaters, and bladers for this leisurely and spirited celebratory ride and roll through the streets of Vancouver. Meet at the Vancouver Art Gallery on the Georgia Street side between 5:00 and 5:30 p.m. - and roll and ride at 6:00 p.m. The ride is on rain, shine, or snow! Costumes and decorated bicycles, trailers, signs, flags, noisemakers, gettoblasters, sound systems, drums, and wildly modified bicycles are all highly encouraged!
