Opus Bicycles is issuing a Service Bulletin for the ORA Carbon forks found on its 2011 Scherzo, Andante, Alto, and Alegria model bicycles. It has come to our attention that some of the forks installed on these models have not had the secondary wheel retention tabs incorporated into the dropouts. Although these secondary tabs are not mandatory, Opus Bicycles strongly urges dealers and consumers to return these forks to Opus to have the secondary wheel retention installed to provide additional security.
If you own one of the affected models and think your fork might be missing those tabs, please, return your bicycle to your authorized Opus retailer. Opus and your Opus retailer will work as quickly as possible to minimize any downtime. Your fork will be serviced and returned to you at no charge.
Consumers with questions concerning this bulletin can contact customer service at www.opusbike.com/en/2-contact.html.
