UCI Centenary Ride
The UCI is celebrating its centenary this year with a number of activities, but there is one in particular that is open to the public. On April 16th any cycling enthusiast can participate in a 43 kilometre ride from Vallorbe and Lausanne (site of the UCI headquarters), Switzerland. A number of former world champions are expected to participate. The cost is 15 Euros (about $21 Canadian). Now, we don't expect many will immediately book a plane ticket to do this ride, but if you happen to be in the area... More information can be found by going to the UCI website (www.uci.ch), or by downloading the brochure - a PDF document that can be opened and printed off with Acrobat Reader.
