July 13/12 17:27 pm - Team Centurion Development Canada ready to tackle Horseshoe Valley

On Saturday afternoon 5 members of Team CDC will be taking to the start line with other top Canadian riders such as Ryan Roth in the Hell of the Horseshoe. A totally unique event which will feature racers tackling the Horseshoe valley on a completely closed road. Racing up both sides of the steep valley before doing a quick u-turn and descending at over 80kph back to the valley floor before ascending again. Team CDC has fielded a team of 5 riders for the elite event. Those Riders are:

Martin Rupes, Toronto ON
Gabriel Charleton, Bordon ON
Elliot Galbraith, Oro ON
Nathan Jeffs, Oro ON
Stephen Welsh, Barrie ON

On Sunday Team CDC will be racing through the beautiful quiet countryside of Oro-medonte in the c-50 and c-100 events. The riders have been training specifically for both events on the course which are located conveniently within km’s of some of the riders doorsteps.

The Team is looking forward to showcasing their hard work and training at the Centurion Cycling events, who is also the Teams Title sponsor for 2012.
