We are pleased to announce the standings after the first week of competition in the Canadian Cyclist Fantasy Tour - sponsored by Specialized. Contest rules require that we wait one week until after a stage (in case of a rider being removing for doping infractions) before the points become official.

The first week saw Fabian Cancellara (Radioshack-Nissan) dominate the Yellow Jersey competition, with Peter Sagan (Liquigas-Cannondale) the strongest of the sprinters. Sadly, it also saw the abandonment of many riders due to crashes.

After the first week, saganoffantasy leads with 167 points, and wins the prize of a pair of Specialized Roubaix tires worth $120, courtesy of Specialized Canada. hatchbackattack is second, with 164 points, winning their choice of either a Specialized Jett Comp or Avatar Comp saddle, worth $110.
