This weekend (August 25th) the Alberta Provincial XC and Marathon Championships will take place in Hinton Alberta. This is the 4th straight year the races will be held on the challenging trails at the nearby Nordic Centre.
Friday night racers will start to roll in to the wilderness race setting for a great weekend of camping, riding bikes and socializing by campfires.
Saturday the racing will start with the XC race taking place on one of the most challenging course’s in Alberta as the track winds itself up and down some of the tightest singletrack in Alberta.
Sunday the racers will tackle the Marathon course, which involves 3 different loops and a couple unreal DH sections highlighted by the bermed “Froehler Coaster”.

Registration closes Friday at 9pm for the XC and on Saturday at 9pm for the Marathon.
