Team H&R Block would like to congratulate Rob Britton on signing a Pro deal with Team Raleigh, a Professional Cycling Team out of the UK.
Rob was an instrumental rider for Team H&R Block during the 2012 season. The team is proud to have been a part of his cycling career and be able to provide him the opportunity to continue to demonstrate his talent in the sport.
Rob Britton stated, "I can’t thank Team H&R Block enough for taking me on during a crucial period in my carrier and providing me with the best possible platform to achieve my goal of returning to the professional scene in 2013. I had a fantastic time this season and will miss many of the riders and staff, but am looking very much forward to my next adventure with Team Raleigh and racing out of the UK”.
Team Director, Mark Ernsting commented “I have always believed in the talent that Rob has from the first time I met him. It was an honour to direct him this past season, I know that he will continue to have a successful career. He now has the opportunity to ride Pro in Europe where the races will suit his strengths”.
Rob is a true leader in the sport both on and off the bike. The Riders, Board of Directors and Sponsors of Team H&R Block would like to wish Rob all the best moving forward, as his talent and love for the sport is contagious.
This is Team H&R Block's second professional signing in the last two seasons. H&R Block was led by Sebastian Salas in 2011, who joined Optum Pro Cycling presented by Kelly Benefit Strategies in 2012; Sebastian went on to win the KOM at the Tour of California this season.
