ExpoCycle, Canada's premier bike and exhibit showcase will take place in Montreal on September 8-10, 2013, according to the Board of Directors of the Bicycle Trade Association of Canada (BTAC), which owns ExpoCycle. In addition to announcing the 2013 dates the Board also announced that Montreal will be the host city for the 2014 show. ExpoCycle will be hosted at the centrally located Palais des congrès de Montréal convention and exhibition center in the heart of Montreal.
"BTAC, ExpoCycle and our exhibitors and sponsors are proud to partner with the City of Montreal for the next two years," said Kevin Senior, President of the Board of Directors at BTAC. "In addition to ExpoCycle, Montreal will also host the Grand Prix Cyclist de Montréal during the same weekend. Both events will provide the industry with significant media attention which we hope will shine a very bright light on the contribution the industry makes in the health, economic, and sporting life of Canada."
The theme of this year's event is The Future of Bicycle Retailing Starts Here. "We're looking forward to elevating the show to new heights by adding more events, celebrations and providing industry riding opportunities on the many scenic outdoor paths throughout beautiful Montreal. By returning to the Palais des congrès de Montréal we have the opportunity to create a new floor plan with product-segmented neighbourhoods and fantastic traffic flow patterns making it easier to shop the show." said Senior.
The showcase will be open to all companies involved in bicycles, bicycle parts & accessories, nutrition, fitness, health & wellness, cycling & urban apparel, travel & tourism, triathlon, cycling related electronics & technology, retail merchandising and qualified business partners.
Additional detail will be released in the very near future. Those seeking information on ExpoCycle, please visit expocycle.ca. Those interested in exhibiting at ExpoCycle should contact info@btac.org or Sumar Clarke at (647) 430-9250 or s.clarke@btac.org.
