Folding Bike Group
The Toronto Folder Group will hold its first get-together on Sunday, June 11. The TFG is for people in the Toronto, Ontario (Canada) area who own, ride, and enjoy folding bicycles (such as Bike Friday, Brompton, Dahon, Birdy, etc.). The idea behind TFG is simple - we want to share the folding fun with like-minded souls, and show the rest of the world what folders are all about. We're unstructured (no membership fees, meetings, or rules) and very informal - as long as you ride a folder, you're welcome to join us! Among the events we're planning are: short group rides in the Toronto area; Show and Tell get-togethers (where we can brag about our machines); and manufacturer/retailer demos. Most of these events will take place - or start/finish, in the case of the rides - at the Urbane Cyclist bike shop, which is located at 180 John Street, in Toronto. There's more info about TFG at: www.praxcomm.com/tfg.htm
