We announced yesterday that B.C.-based coach and race organizer Jeremy Storie died on Sunday. The cycling community from across Canada is remembering Jeremy:

Cycling Canada is mourning the passing of Jeremy Storie, of Vancouver, British Columbia, a prominent track and road cycling coach at the provincial and national levels.
“We are truly saddened to hear of the passing of Jeremy. He was a key player in the early stages of Canada’s successful Women Team Pursuit program. We have had the immense pleasure to work with Jeremy on many national and international projects for junior and development projects, as well as to develop the team pursuit program. He will be missed dearly by all of us,” said Jacques Landry, Director of High Performance for Cycling Canada.
Cycling Canada sends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Storie, as well to the cycling community in British Columbia.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeremy Storie.
Jeremy was a key coach and leader in our cycling community. He helped build the dEVo youth program at its inception in 1999 and developed several National and International level riders.
Over the years Jeremy has brought great passion to the sport as a rider, coach, team director, announcer, mentor and race organizer. He will be greatly missed by all.
From the cycling community in BC we send our greatest condolences to his friends and family.
We will share more information and details about arrangements as decisions by his family are made.
