Oakley Atlantic Racing, based out of Nova Scotia, is excited to announce its 2013 roster for road, mountain and cyclocross.

Jamie Lamb (Halifax, NS) arrives as one of Atlantic Canada’s most successful racers in the last decade. Between representing Canada at MTB Worlds in his younger years, to winning a bronze at the XCM (Marathon) National Championships in 2012, Lamb has had countless regional and national Elite level results in between, both on the road and in the dirt.

Perhaps more impressively, Lamb has accomplished these successes while completing a Law degree and preparing to begin a Medical degree. He also holds the position of President of Bicycle Nova Scotia and is a mentor/advisor to many Provincial and Canada Games athletes. Team Manager, Terry Tomlin remarked "As excited as we are to have a marquis athlete of Lamb’s caliber on the team, it is his legendary status as an ambassador of cycling that really makes us proud."

Neil Symington (Sussex, NB) represents the next generation of incredible cycling talents to hail from New Brunswick. Following in the footsteps of current superstars like Meier, Pendrel, Hadley and Wight, Symington is a U19 who recently represented Canada at the World CX Championships in Louisville.

Tomlin stated "Neil is one of those versatile riders who seems as fast and comfortable on an MTB as on a cross or road bike - incredible potential that we want to help develop." Neil will race with Oakley Atlantic Racing regionally on the road and will represent Montreal’s Opus MTB program when on the MTB and CX circuit nationally.

Jon Burgess (Bedford, NS) returns in his second year with the Oakley Atlantic Racing team. The winner of the prestigious 2012 Halifax Criterium, Burgess’ focus is not just limited to cycling, as he also competes internationally in the Firefighter Combat Challenge.

Steve Cameron (Halifax, NS) built a solid reputation as a selfless team rider in 2012 and returns to Oakley Atlantic Racing to continue his development. In only his third year of Elite level racing, Cameron has used his tireless work ethic to help the team achieve podiums while also moving up the result rankings himself.

Terry Tomlin (Dartmouth, NS): As Team Manager/Captain, Tomlin leverages two decades of racing experience to lead the team while balancing family and career. When asked what the team’s goals are for the season Tomlin states "naturally we want to continue to light it up at regional races and if we can help Lamb and Symington realize their goals of bringing home a National Champion’s jersey and going to Worlds that would be ideal. But, really, if we can present ourselves as mentors such that the younger riders in the region say 'Wow, I want to train more and make THAT team in the future' then we’ve really realized success."
