Peter Mazur won one stage (the first), finished second in another (the 3rd) and third overall in a junior stage race in Holland one week ago.

National Trails Conference

From June 1 to 4, 2000, the city of Owen Sound and the Trails Council of Ontario will host Canada's first National Trail Conference.

Keynote speaker is David Foote and guest speakers will include Tim Blumenthal of IMBA. A Saturday evening slide show presentation, on the Principles of Trail Maintenance, has been added to the schedule. As an added bonus, all OCA members are being offered FREE admission. Thames Valley Cycle Tour

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, London-Middlesex, St. Thomas-Elgin, and Oxford Chapters, has partnered with the London Centennial Wheelers and the London Cycling Club to host the 2nd Annual Thames Valley Cycle Tour.

Mark your calendar on Sunday, July 30, 2000 for an exciting and worthwhile cycling adventure!

The Thames Valley Cycle Tour begins at the 3M Canada Building, Anniversary Park, (corner of Clark Road and Oxford Street) where the participants will cycle through the "heart" of the Thames Valley District. The scenic routes of agricultural farmland, quaint little villages and the coast of Lake Erie are sure to make for a pleasurable day. The tour offers 4 route lengths: 100 miles, 110 km, 60 km, 27 km. With your required minimum fundraising commitment fo $75, you will receive your official event tshirt. There are fabulous incentive prizes for you to earn with your fundraising efforts. Top fundraiser for the event will receive a Weekend Package for Two courtesy of Steve Bauer Bike Tours Inc. and Vintage Inns, Niagara.

July 1-14 for $20
after July 15 for $25

New this year, children under the age fo 13 and registered with an adult, can ride for a low registration fee of $5
