Linus Bicycles and Outdoor Gear Canada (OGC) have signed a multi-year agreement making OGC Linus's exclusive Canadian distributor, effective September 1, 2013.
Inspired by French bicycle designs of the 50's and 60's, Linus founders Adam McDermott and Chad Kushner have built a company that's become a leader in the fast-growing urban bicycle market.
"We're super excited to benefit from the depth and experience of OGC," said Adam, CEO of Linus. "We see it as part of the evolution of Linus, as we find our way into more and more top 100 dealers in the US and are now to be represented by one of Canada's most respected distributors."
OGC is Canada's leading supplier to IBD's of premium cycling products. Linus joins BMC, Intense and Opus in OGC`s stable of leading bicycle brands.
"We've been admirers of Linus for several years," said Rob White, OGC's Vice President of Sales. "Their beautiful bikes will be a major addition to our Bicycle Brand Support Program which gives dealers a unique, profitable and very attractive alternative to the standard, monolithic, 'single brand for all customers' approach that the large bike companies feature."
OGC expects to have stock of Linus bicycles and accessories in its Montréal and Vancouver warehouses in late November of this year.
