During our video interview with Svein Tuft after the TTT, he mentioned that he may or may NOT being competing in the ITT on Wednesday. Svein will be consulting his coach and then make a decision.  The main reason being that his preparation for the TTT, short bursts of energy followed byspinning, has possibly left him poorly prepared for the ITT.

We spoke briefly with Cycling Canada's head coach Jacques Landry, who said that if Svein does not compete, he will not be replaced.
