The Burnaby Velodrome Club is pleased to announce the addition of four Feature Friday Night events to the regular Friday Night Racing. On October 18th, November 15, February 14th, and March 21st, the Burnaby Velodrome, inside the Harry Jerome Sports Center, will host some of the region's best cycling talent.
Participants will be competing for the honour to wear the Vie 13 Leader's Jersey and, on March 21st, to be crowned champion. With a beer garden serving some of the area's finest microbrews, food on-site, a pop-up coffee lounge, and great music, spectators will learn first hand why track cycling was the most popular spectator sport in the past. Racing begins at 6:30 and, to kick things off, on October 18th there will be a kiddie kilo; a two lap "race" for children of all ages and abilities, with Parallel 49 being served in the beer garden.
Grab that push bike and bring the whole family out for a night of fast-action fun at the Burnaby Velodrome, western Canada's only indoor track for bikes.
