The Canadian national federation, Cycling Canada, has released the selection policy for the 2014 Cyclo-cross World Championships, to be held in Hoogerheide, Netherlands, next February. Cyclo-cross is not a funded discipline, so all members will be required to pay their own way, including possibly contributing towards the cost of support staff.
Canada will be able to send a maximum of five (5) riders for each of the four (4) categories: Elite Men, Elite Women, Under-23 Men, Junior Men. Athletes who wish to attend must participate in the 2013 Cyclo-cross National Championships on November 30, 2013, in Surrey, BC.
Riders must also meet minimum selection criteria, as stated in the Policy document. The full policy can be downloaded Here.
