The third and final round of the Track World Cup takes place this weekend in Guadalajara, Mexico, starting tomorrow, and Canada is sending four women and two men. The women will focus on endurance events, with Allison Beveridge, Laura Brown, Jasmin Glaesser and Steph Roorda competing in the Team Pursuit. Beveridge will also contest the Omnium.
The two men will focus on sprint events, with Hugo Barrette and Joseph Veloce both entered in the Match Sprint, and Barrette also scheduled for the Keirin.
The team is looking for a top-2 finish in the Team Pursuit, top-6 in the Omnium, a top-16 in the Sprint and to make the second round of the Keirin. Canada currently is ranked second in the overall standings for the Team Pursuit.
